Winter Wine Highway Weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday Dec 3 - 5 North Georgia Wineries and at many affiliate businesses.
The Winegrowers Association of Georgia will hold its 2nd Annual Winter Wine Highway Weekend. This is a great time to visit the mountains and take a break from all the hustle and bustle. Wineries will feature live music, food and and tastings of award winning wines. Many participating shops and galleries will also be featuring wine tastings and culinary events. Starting at 2pm Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday until 5:00pm. Lots of wonderful shopping available at most participating venues.

For the special weekend only, Tiger Mountain offers barrel tastings of the '08 Cabernet Franc and discounts on purchases of the award winning '06 Cabernet Franc. May 15: Annual "Awakening the Vines" celebration with THE MARCHING ABOMINABLE FEED AND SEED BAND dancing in the vineyards. A bonfire of the winter prunings to bid winter adieu! Release of the '09 Petit Manseng. Gourmet picnic under the old oak trees behind the winery. Party is limited to Tigerwine Club members and their guests.
