Wine Events & Dinners

The Beechwood Inn offers Saturday Night Prix Fixe Chef's Tasting Dinners. This means the only menu available each Saturday is pre-selected by our chefs based on what is seasonal and available that night. Limited substitutions can be made to the tasting menu only if you let us know in advance of your dietary restrictions. Most of our seasonal foods are organic and natural, many from sustainable farms, orchards, dairies and vineyards. Due to the special nature of our foods and because of their higher cost advance reservations are needed. The Inn features Northeast Georgia's only Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine list.

In addition, all the wines served this evening will be made by Mario’s partner Joe Bastianich

Oct 9: Tuscan Dinner with Italian Wines

What distinguishes Tuscan food since the time of the Etruscans has been its noble simplicity. Country cooking attests to the seasonal goodness of garden produce and the perennial splendor of green-gold extra virgin olive oil. Tuscans are fanatical about freshness. Herbs, above all rosemary and sage, are good year-round, as are the fresh or dried white beans toscanelli, cannellini, zolfini.
