Private Dining in Our Wine Cave:

Dining in our Wine Cave: Beechwood Inn now offers private dining in our latest addition “the Wine Grotto” a private dining area adjacent to our wine cellar. This is an old cellar room we have transformed into a pretty cool place to enjoy our Chef’s Table Dinners.

Grotto: a small picturesque cave, especially an artificial one in a park or garden; an indoor structure resembling a cave.

Due to our Wine Grotto’s downstairs location we have a couple of additional guidelines that apply to the use of this room for your group’s dining experience. First, we need a group 6 – 8  people as we will need to add an extra wait person. Second, If you want a private dinner in our wine cave with fewer attendees, then the evening will be charged as a private chef dinner. 

There is nothing more perfect than having a private dining experience with a first class chef at a romantic inn.  Whether planning a romantic candlelit dinner for two, or the perfect way to celebrate your small group’s gathering let the Beechwood Inn help you plan a unique dining experience. This event promises to be a memorable evening. Beechwood Inn Executive Chef and Co-Owner David Darugh will oversee every detail, from menu planning including wine pairings and dessert to execution and service of each dish. We are happy to make all the wine pairings as well with fine wines from our “Wine Spectator Award of Excellence” Wine Cellar.

Private Chef Dinners – Dining in our Wine Cave

Give us a call to select your date, let us know any special requests and we will create the perfect menu. Prix-Fixe dining inclusive of service fee, Four course dinner with wine pairings, $160/person; five course tasting menu with wine pairings $175/person; six course tasting menu with wine pairings, $190/person; eight course tasting menu with wine pairings, $220/person. And, while you don’t need to be as agile as a mountain goat, you need to be aware it is down a flight of stairs to our cellar. Wear appropriate shoes.
